I usually go through 20-25 printed drafts of each book, one after another, red pen in hand. Perfectionist doesn&#039;t begin to cover it ;-)

I, too, love editing. Right now, I&#039;m just on the last chapter of my young adult novel, and I can&#039;t wait to write that last word. Then I can get stuck into the editing, start from the beginning, be ruthless and get rid of all the rubbish.
I have no idea how many times I&#039;ll rewrite it. I find with editing that no matter how good you think the last rewrite was, leave it a while and you&#039;ll always find something to change.
But when I write blogs, I usually only edit them once.
