Festival Events
There are four major events taking place during the three-day festival – two for everyone, one for students, and a special evening of Words ‘n’ Wine for the grown-ups.
TUESDAY 18 May signals the start of proceedings with a breakfast and opening assembly for parents and students hosted by Jon Doust. Tickets are $5 per adult and $3.50 per student for breakfast.
WEDNESDAY 19 May sees the traditional pizza lunch for students, which this year will be a dress-up event. Tickets are $5 and include pizza and a drink.
The Words and Wine event for parents, presenters and supporters is on the Wednesday evening. This is a chance for you to browse through the Festival Bookshop, listen to pastry chef and recipe author Emmanuel Mollois, and indulge in a glass or two of excellent wine, with some gourmet nibbles to complete your evening. Tickets are $12 and include nibbles and your first glass of wine.
THURSDAY 20 May finishes with a whole school gathering to celebrate the writing achievements of the students.
Tickets must be purchased beforehand for the breakfast, lunch and evening event, which are important fund-raisers for the Festival. If you haven’t yet received an order form for these, please contact us using the form below:
